UBC Okanagan researcher is looking for an experienced software programmer. We are specifically looking for someone who has experience working with Zipit devices. If you are interested, please contact Dr. Susan Holtzman at susan.holtzman@ubc.ca. We are aiming to have the software developed by early September.
PROJECT DETAILS - We will be administering a brief 5-10 minute survey to study participants twice a day for two weeks. - Zipits will be in wireless range at least a few times per week - Zipits will need to be programmed so an alarm will go off to remind participants to complete the survey. The alarm should have a snooze function so that they can press snooze at least twice. - Each entry will need to be timestamped so that we know exactly when the participant completed it. - Once the survey period is complete, we will need to download the data into an excel file. Since the device will be connected to internet at certain points during the study period, we'd also like the data to be automatically downloaded to our server when they enter a wireless network range |
